We were founded in 1984 and our staff has become recognized leaders in the industry. We have built a large customer base throughout Texas and the Southwest. Based out of Springtown, Texas (just Northwest of Fort Worth) our staff is on call to handle your needs. Our technicians are factory trained and qualified to perform warranty work on all major manufacturers of vertical flow, horizontal flow, and chemical fume hoods. National and International coverage is provided through Independent Certification Services, Inc.
Members of AirScan Technologies staff are charter members of Independent Certification Services. I.C.S. is a nationwide group of ten select independent certification companies located strategically throughout the United States ad Canada, enabling them to provide national and international coverage, helping bring down the cost of medical certification services through increased competition.
AirScan Technologies staff are charter members of International Air Filtration Certifiers Association (IAFCA) formed in 1993. This is a trade association of certification testing companies from across the U.S. and Canada established to create, standardize, and maintain the proficiency of each individual technician in the field. This is accomplished through individual testing implemented, controlled and maintained by National Institute of Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET). This evaluation program was developed by I.A.F.C.A. in conjunction with human competency testing professionals including, National Organization for Competency Assurance (NCOA), and National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
AirScan Technologies can provide field service technicians that are accredited under the NSF Biohazard Cabinet Field Certifier Program and in addition we have field service technicians accredited under the International Air Filtration Certifiers Association (IAFCA) program also.
USP 797 Viable Testing
Viable testing and analysis is a critical element in controlling and maintaining environmental contamination in clean rooms and controlled environments.
AirScan Technologies can accomplish this required (USP 797) testing in conjunction with the semi-annual testing and certification of your clean rooms and class 5 devices.
Collected samples are done by impaction method using TSA plates. They are then sent to our contracted laboratory for analysis, with results reported to you along with your clean room certification report. The report is very detailed and meets all the requirements of USP 797.
All testing and certification is performed in accordance with one or more of the following standards:

AITHA (Laboratory Ventilation and Fume Hoods)
SEFA (Laboratory Fume Hoods)
ISO (Cleanroom Testing)

ASHRAE (Chemical Fume Hood Evaluation)
